I have a special fondness for speculative fiction, but write across genres and styles.  Several of my original plays have seen staged readings in the greater Seattle area, and this year I will have a poem featured on the King County Metro.  I am also a mother of three and live with PTSD from relationship violence, which I write about on my blog bettysbattleground.com.

My goal is to one day support my family through my writing.  Because of my PTSD it is difficult for me to maintain conventional employment, but my family is struggling and I am under pressure to find work in order to keep us housed.  Any monetary support received through this site will go toward my household expenses so that I can focus on writing and healing. If you like my work, please don't forget to share!
