Vesoul / Troyes
I drew the winner of the first sprint Marcel Kittel in Liege. He repeated the feat in stage 6 to make it two in Troyes. It was a very different scenario this time as the German, perfectly led-out by his team, surged in the last 150 metres. I have honoured him in oils today. I kept the image loose and fast too show the dynamic nature of the race. The blurred background would not be important and the other riders fade away.
