Healthy Guyabano Jackfruit Smoothie

in Food

I love it here in my home country Philippines as I can enjoy a lot of healthy tropical fruits fresh from the farmers market. I have introduced the healthy Guyabano and Jackfruit in my blogs here at Niume. Now I am sharing with you my homemade smoothie from these fruits. This is a recipe for the whole family of 4 to 6 persons, depending on the serving glasses you are using.

250 g ripe Jackfruit pulps without seeds, cubes

300 g Guyabano pulps without seeds

200 g fresh milk or more, depending on how thick you want it to be

Blender or smoothie maker

First, put the milk in the blender. Then add the jackfruit and the guyabano. Blend them well until they are fine enough for you to drink. You can add ice cubes in it or just put the smoothie in the fridge an hour before drinking.

1. If you only have smoothie maker for 2 persons, you can reduce the amount of the ingredients.

2. You can add Kremdensada or whip cream in the mixture but then, this smoothie is no longer as healthy as without these two.

3. Don't worry if you have leftover, you can freeze the smoothie and eat this like an ice cream.

4. Or you can put the leftover smoothie in an ice pop holder or maker and freeze them for later use. Enjoy!
