Jeremy Irons plays the big Templar evil man who uses his scientist daughter to conduct these experiments and give him the answer he needs: knowing where the original sin apple is hidden. Once obtained he reveals his purposes and his daughter feels betrayed.
Since the dark ages of the church, science has always been the opponent.
Still, nowadays in the Philippines the church tells people not to use contraceptive methods, so AIDS and teenage pregnancies are growing. This country is already in poverty and overpopulated and the church is adding more to that.
This film "Assassin's Creed" is about the fight for freedom of thought represented by the Muslim assassins and against the moral and laws of the church who want to keep people in darkness (these are the Templars with their cross).
The daughter is a scientist with passion and templar by inheritance, so the passion is stronger at the end. And she changes, she allows the Muslim Assassins to kill her father and recover the apple, saving the world from darkness and giving science and freedom a chance.

Bravo for the producers and director and writers who gave out a brave statement as this was a very nice surprise!
Yes, you read correctly, we are searching for the apple of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Because that is the fruit from the tree of knowledge, anyone who has it can allow humans to have freedom and science or live in the darkness through morals and law.
