The last few days were a lot of delicious eating for Christmas and New Years feastivity. Not only delicious and lavish but not healthy as well.
There's a tradition in the Philippines to have 12 (or was it 13 ?) variations of fruits at home before the New Year strikes at midnight. So, I had a lot of fruits on the dining table. Mango, Star apple, apple, watermelon, pomelo, banana, guava, etc... Before the fruits got rotten we started eating them. This afternoon, I made a healthy and yummy smoothie. Very refreshing as well. See the recipe below.
1 ripe mango, cubes
1 apple, cut into small pieces
1 piece or orange, deseeded and cut into small cubes
1/2 cup of milk
2 Calamansi juice, Philippines lime (or 1 normal lime)
HOW TO MAKE THE SMOOTHIE :
Put all the ingredients together in a smoothie maker and blend well. It serves for 2-3 persons. It depends how small or big the glass is. Enjoy!
