Meditation on Magnificence

A powerful meditation from Reflections: A Journey to God: Find a comfortable place where you feel safe and will not be interrupted. This is your time to meditate.

Start by taking a few deep breaths to relax your mind and your body to spend some time in the silence. Feel your body begin to loosen up. Keep breathing slowly... 4 breaths in through your nose and five slowly exhaled breaths out of your mouth.  Allow your mind to slow down. Do whatever you need to get ready for your meditation. A short mantra or prayer perhaps. Feel your body comfortably relax into the chair. Notice the sounds around you lulling you into a deeper place within. Once you are calm comfortable, take the next step:

Gently direct your consciousness into the secret place of the most High. You may envision yourself sitting by a stream on a sunny day, relaxing in a meadow caressed by gentle breezes, or on the top of a mountain enjoying the view below. Let your inner self take you anywhere you wish to go.

Picture the Light everywhere present. It surrounds you and you sense a peace beyond all understanding. Breathe in the Light; feel the warm glow of the Light; move in the Light. You are completely surrounded by the Light. All of your worries and fears have left you. All you know at this moment is God.

You have touched the Divine of which you are forever a part. Love, happiness, beauty and joy fulfills you. You realize that at this very moment (and at every moment) you are a part of the Universal Source of all Good; the only power in the Universe: The powerful I AM that I AM.

In this Unity, we feel love, comfort, and healing power...

In this Unity, we connect to the unconditional Being of love, peace, and understanding. ..

In this Unity, we remain grateful and blessed by all that we are, all that we have, and all that we receive...

Today, we choose to Love with all our mind, heart, and power. We will live fearlessly with laughter and joy. We are One, and as we experience this joy we feel... Magnificence.

Glow in this place for as long as you wish, and when you are ready, slowly open your eyes and come back to your surroundings. You will feel relaxed and totally encircled by your experience. Take this understanding with you for the rest of your day or night.

Keep in mind you can experience the Light where ever you are and whenever you wish, by simply taking some deep breaths and closing your eyes for a few moment. Say silently to yourself, "I AM connected to the Light and I AM the Light".
